Business ST postpones date for return to,profitability

STMicroelectronics had a Q3 loss of $142 million on revenues of $2.01 million.

The company postponed its forecast of a return to profit by six months to mid-2015.

Q4 revenues are forecast at $2.08 million.

Q3 margin was 32.4%.

ST is trying to regain profitability by focussing down on its most profitable sectors.
